Arab-Israeli actress and social media activist Maisa Abd Elhadi was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly endorsing the Hamas militant group in a series of social media posts amid the ongoing conflict. According to media reports, she has been taken into custody on the suspicion of "incitement to terrorism."
The actress has made several statements on social media that could be considered as endorsing the violence and mayhem unleashed by the Hamas on October 7 against Israel. Police arrested her from Nazareth and said that one of her posts was an photo of the broken border fence between Israel and Gaza with the caption, "Let's Go Berlin Style."

The 37-year-old actress was born in Nazareth to Muslim parents. She gained recognition for her roles in various Palestinian and international productions.

Reportedly, Maisa was involved in a peaceful demonstration in Haifa on May 9, 2021, protesting against forced expulsions of Palestinian families from their homes in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah. Unfortunately, she was wounded by Israeli forces during this demonstration.
