‘Baadshah’ which was released in 1999 was not successful at the box office. But, one of its songs ‘Hum toh deewane hue yaar’ was hugely popular. Shah Rukh and Twinkle Khanna are seen shaking legs in this romantic track. But, it has now emerged that choreographer Farah Khan had a tough teaching friend SRK the dance steps.
In a throwback video from Shah Rukh fan club, we see Farah trying her best to ensure that the superstar gets his dance steps right. But the actor was at his quirky best as he refused to listen to his choreographer and deliberately did the wrong steps. He even joked as he said, “Poora gaana aise hi karunga (I will do the entire song like this)” But Twinkle looked quite sincere with her work as she even instructed Shah Rukh to take it seriously.
Baadshah was not so popular at the time of release, but has become a cult on TV, a fun movie to watch on a lazy Sunday. Shah Rukh Khan plays a detective in the movie, who entertains us with his comic acts and Twinkle Khanna plays his love interest. Despite being a comic-thriller, the King of Romance Shah Rukh manages to spill his charm in this one too, winning the title of ‘Baadshah’ forever.
