Content creator and actress Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid and currently seen on the reality show The Traitors, shared a shocking incident on social media involving an airport staff member. She revealed that she was denied an emergency seat after being told they 'don't give emergency seats to disabled bodies,' as the staff judged her appearance and assumed she looked 'sick.'
Taking to her Instagram story on Monday, Apoorva shared a selfie and wrote, "I am catching a flight on zero sleep (no surprises there), but I asked for an emergency seat, and the woman at the counter said we can't give it to disabled bodies???? I was like, WTF??? I am fully able (at least physically), and she was like, You are sick."
She added, "I was like, Kisne bola aapko? And she said, Aapki shakal dekh ke lag raha hai, and when I was offended by this conversation, she was surprised??? And she also got offended???? LIKE???"

Apoorva, who became the center of controversy after appearing on an episode of Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent in February, revealed that she was asked to vacate her previous flat, which she had moved into in 2024, after residents of the building complained about frequent police visits to deliver notices or summons.
Appearing on Mashable India's The Bombay Journey, Apoorva said, "Building walon ne complain kar di ki, 'Building mein police aa rahi hai, kitni galat baat hai. Isiliye hum bachelors ko rehne nahi dete, isiliye akeli ladkiyon ko rehne nahi dete.' Fir mujhe bola gaya ki aap jao. Sirf ek saal hi rahi thi uss ghar mein."
