Plot overview
We Were Liars centres around around a rich family, the Sinclairs, who go to their private island, but events spiral when a murder happens. The series reveals that Cadence sustains a head injury one summer and is unable to recall the events that took place during that time. Two years afterward, she goes back to the island to attempt to reconstruct the happenings of that summer with the assistance of her cousins and a family friend, referred to as the Liars. What happens next is revealed in the series.
