Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut made headlines on Tuesday after she became the first woman to perform Ravan Dahan at the iconic Ramlila in Delhi which is organised annually on the Red Fort grounds on the occasion of Dussehra. However, several videos have now gone viral on the internet in which the actress can be seen struggling to shoot the arrow out of the bow.
Kangana looked gorgeous in a traditional red saree with heavy jewellery and makeup. Apart from her, the Ravan Dahan event was also attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, and other members of the Lav Kush Ramlila Committee.
In the videos which are now doing the rounds on the internet, Kangana can be seen readying herself to shoot the customary arrow towards the effigy of Ravan, marking the victory of good over evil. However, the arrow kept missing the mark and falling right in front of her despite multiple attempts.
The actress was seen struggling to shoot the arrow and inspite of help from the people around her, she had to take several shots before finally being able to shoot the arrow.
The entire episode was caught on camera and it has now sparked a meme fest on social media. Netizens are comparing the video with clips of Kangana from her film Manikarnika, in which she played the role of the Queen of Jhansi and was seen effortlessly shooting arrows on screen.
Kangana's upcoming projects
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana will be next seen playing the role of Air Force pilot Tejas Gill, in her upcoming film Tejas.
With the film, Kangana says that she hopes to instill respect and pride in the minds of people for the Air Force and the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to protect the country and those residing within.
Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas is all set to hit the silver screens on October 27, 2023.
Besides, Kangana also has Emergency in her kitty, in which she will be seen essaying the role of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
