Plot
Waco: The Aftermath is a five-episode drama that depicts the events following the 1993 Waco siege. The series shows the human toll of the disaster and the liberties of the Branch Davidians, emphasising the differing narratives of the siege, where each side asserts that the other instigated the conflict. The series likewise demonstrates how the media depicted the Branch Davidians as a cult, ignoring their choice to be part of the community. The Waco tragedy encapsulated the chaos of the early 1990s, highlighting the emergence of right-wing talk radio and anti-government militia groups.
