Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun, who was arrested on December 13 in the Hyderabad theatre stampede case, spent a night in jail and returned home on Saturday morning. And upon his return, his grandmother was seen getting emotional and performing a ritual to ward off evil eye from the actor.
In the video, the Pushpa 2 actor can be seen rushing to hos grandmother and touching her feet as he returned home after spending a night in prison. She then removed his 'nazar' by performing a ritual in front of him. Another woman can also be seen performing a similar evil eye ritual with a coconut.
The actor then hugged his grandmother and walked inside his house along with her.
Allu Arjun was arrested from his residence on Friday morning after he was booked in the Sandhya theatre stampede case. The actor visited the theatre for a special premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4, and his visit caused a massive stampede outside the theatre. A woman was trampled to death in the stampede, and her minor son, who was gravely injured, is still undergoing treatment in a local hospital.
After the incident came to light, Allu Arjun was expressed his grief and gave Rs 25 lakh to the bereaved family. Not just that, but he also promised to personally visit the family and take care of all the medical expenses of the son.
Allu Arjun, along with theatre officials, was booked in the stampede case, and while the actor got bail on Friday itself, he had to spend the night there and he returned home on Saturday. It was an emotional reunion for him as his wife, Sneha, was seen hugging him and breaking down. His kids too ran up to him and hugged him tight.
