A video of police arresting Salman Khan's lookalike and fan, Aazam Ansari, has been making rounds on social media. The clip shows cops dragging him toward their police van in Lucknow. For those unversed, Aazam was taken into custody for allegedly blocking the road and arguing with people. Additionally, he was making a video while holding a gun, which raised concerns.
The police later discovered that Ansari's gun license had expired in 2022 and had not been renewed.
In a now-viral video, the police can be seen asking customers sitting in a café to leave. The video also shows a policeman hitting a young man. Later, one of the officers is seen dragging Aazam outside by holding his t-shirt, while his face remained covered.

Aazam, who has over 120K followers on Instagram, has been actively posting updates about his arrest. In one of the videos, he is seen sitting inside a police jeep while being taken to the station. He claims that he was simply having a cup of tea when the police picked him up.
However, police officials reportedly maintain that his firearm was unlicensed, which led to his detention. Despite his claims of innocence, authorities are investigating the matter further.
"Police hit me a lot last night. Now, I have come here for bail, and I am not getting it. The plan is to send me to jail. But, you tell me what have I done that I should go to jail?" Aazam asked in one of the videos.
He added, "They are cancelling the license of my revolver. If tomorrow someone comes and shoots me, who will take the responsibility? You guys, please help me, say the truth. No one came to meet me, I was in lock up for the whole night."
Aazam is a huge fan of Salman and he often dresses like the actor to shoot reels. His Instagram account is flooded with videos in which he is seen trying to pose and dance like the Sikandar actor.
