The makers of Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar recently unveiled the first look video of the film and it has left the audience excited. Amid the buzz, a couple of videos from the sets of Dhurandhar have gone viral on social media, revealing that parts of the film were shot in Kheda village near Dehlon in Ludhiana, Punjab.
The scenes depict a Pakistani village, complete with Pakistani flags placed across the set.
In one of the viral clips, Ranveer is seen walking on a rooftop, while the surroundings clearly resemble a rural Pakistani setup. Social media users were quick to identify the filming location as Kheda village.
According to media reports, locals, too, confirmed the shoot took place in their village, expressing excitement about seeing their homes and streets featured on screen.
Dhurandhar shoot in Ludhiana
The shoot reportedly continued for three to four days, with over 100 people involved in the production - including actors, the director, cameramen, and other crew members. The team had reportedly converted certain parts of the village to look like a Pakistani setting.
Just 10 days ago, the first look of Dhurandhar was unveiled, raising anticipation around the film. With Ranveer playing the lead, the movie is already being talked about for its grand scale and striking visuals.
The viral videos have only added to the buzz, especially due to the unusual transformation of a Punjabi village into a Pakistani backdrop.

In the video, Ranveer channelled his never-seen-before menacing avatar. He can be seen flaunting his beefed up physique and long hair. It also revealed that the film is based on "incredibly true events", though it did not divulge much into the details of the tale.
Dhurandhar also stars R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and others in key roles, and the video offered impactful glimpses of the stars, adding to the intrigue amongst the audience. It also introduced Sara Arjun as the female lead opposite Ranveer.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is set to release in theatres on December 5, 2025.
