Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, recently visited spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan. A video of their visit has surfaced on social media. During the meeting, Raj Kundra reportedly expressed his heartfelt wish to donate one of his kidneys to the revered saint.
Responding to Raj's offer, Premanand Maharaj humbly said, "Until God wills it, the call will not come."
The visit has drawn attention among devotees and fans alike. According to media reports, the couple spent time in a calm and spiritual atmosphere, listening intently to the saint's words.
Shilpa asked Maharaj about the practice of chanting 'Radha' and how it should be done. He explained how the chant could free her from all troubles and reportedly stated that following the guidance of saints could lead to a fulfilled life.
Raj offers to donate his kidney
During the conversation, Premanand Maharaj revealed that both his kidneys had failed and that he had been living with this condition for the past 10 years. He said he was unafraid, as God's call could come at any moment.
Hearing this, Raj made an emotional statement that stunned everyone present, including Shilpa. "I've been following you for the past two years. I have no questions because your videos always answer any doubts or fears I have. You are an inspiration to everyone. I know about your health condition, and if I can help, one of my kidneys is yours," Raj said.
Premanand Maharaj, touched by the gesture, thanked Raj but declined the offer. "It's enough for me that you stay happy. Until the call comes, we won’t leave this world because of a kidney. But I accept your goodwill from the heart," he replied.
