Vijay Deverakonda is majorly known for portraying romantic and guy next door roles in his movies. He tried his hands into action with Liger, but the film didn't do well at the box office, and after that he was again seen in movies like Kushi and The Family Star. Now, once again, the actor is all set to get into action mode for Gowtam Tinnanuri's directorial. The movie was called VD12 till now, and today, finally the makers have revealed the title and release the teaser of the film.
The movie is titled Kingdom and it is set against the backdrop of a war. The teaser showcases that there's a war, and how people are being killed. Later, we are introduced to our hero, Vijay Deverakonda.
The teaser is good, but we cannot ignore that it gives a lot of KFG and Salaar vibes due to the black color theme. However, Vijay grabs our attention with his performance in it.
While Kingdom is a Telugu film, it will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Hindi as well. In the teaser, there's a voice that narrates the story of the war. Well, in Tamil teaser the voice is of Suriya, in Telugu teaser the voice is of Jr NTR, and in Hindi teaser, the narration is done by Ranbir Kapoor.
Well, Vijay's rumourded girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna also shared the teaser on her Instagram story, and wrote, "This man always... Always comes up with something mental. @thedeverakonda so proud!"
The lead actress of Kingdom is Sree Leela, but we don't get a glimpse of her in the teaser. While there's a woman shown in it, but as the face is not visible we don't whether she is Sree Leela or someone else.
Vijay's last few films have failed to make a mark at the box office. So, the expectations of his fans from Kingdom are quite high.
