Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s Holi song, the title track of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is undoubtedly one of the best festivals songs that we have heard in Bollywood. During Holi celebrations, it is always there in everyone’s playlist. Now, in his next film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun will be once again seen in a Holi song and today, on the festival, he took to Instagram to share a BTS of the track.
The video also features Maniesh Paul, and Varun captioned it as, “Happy holi wishing you straight from the sets of #sunnysanskarikitulsikumari bts can’t wait for you to hear our new holi song. Sooon…….” Check out the video below…
While fans of Varun have commented that they can’t wait for the song, it is Janhvi’s comment that grabs our attention. The actress, who will be seen opposite Varun in the film, wrote, “U just wanted to show ur abs.”
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is directed by Shashank Khaitan and apart from Varun, Janhvi, and Maniesh, the film also stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra. The film is slated to release on April 18, 2025. So, we can expect that soon the makers will kickstart the promotions of the film. We won’t be surprised if they share this Holi song with the audience today itself.
Earlier, there were reports that this movie starring Varun and Janhvi is the third instalment of the Dulhania franchise. However, Varia fans were quite upset with the reports, but finally, it was announced as a new movie and not a franchise film.
Varun was last seen on the big screens in Baby John which was released last December. However, the film failed to make a mark at the box office. So, now, his fans are excited that the actor is making his comeback to the rom-com genre with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
