Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan took a day off from his busy schedule to watch the India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy match on Sunday in the comfort of his home. And while at it, he was accompanied by two of his 'babies', his baby girl Lara and pet dog Joey.

Varun took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself lounging on the couch with little Lara nestled in his arms. His pet pooch Joey can be seen sitting right next to him as the match played on their TV.

"I used to watch with my dad now she’s cheering for #teamindia with me (sic)," Varun wrote, referring to his daughter.

As Varun is yet to reveal the face of his daughter, he covered it with a yellow heart emotion as he shared the photo.

Varun and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on June 3, 2024. They got married in 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Alibaug.

On the work front, Varun was last seen in the film, Baby John, which was scripted by Atlee and directed by Kalees. Despite all-out promotions and hype, the film failed to make a mark at the box office. Baby John also starred Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff, among others.

At present, he is busy with the shoot of his next, Border 2, which features an ensemble cast of Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, and others.

The film, which is helmed by Anurag Singh, is the sequel to the 1997 film Border, an epic war film, based on the events of Battle of Longewala (1971), directed by JP Dutta.

Border 2 seems to be based on the 1999 Kargil War. In early 1999, Pakistani troops infiltrated across the Line of Control (LoC) and occupied Indian territory mostly in the Kargil district. It is scheduled for a Republic Day release in 2026.
