Actress Tejasswi Prakash, a prominent name in the television industry, best best known for her role as Ragini Gadodia Maheshwari in Swaragini-Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, recently recalled being treated differently while working with senior actors in the early phase of her career. However, after her second show, she realised her worth and refused to be treated less than anyone else.
Speaking to Zoom, the 31-year-old actress said, "Initially, when I worked with senior actors who were more known than I was. I would be treated very differently. They would be given better rooms, better vanity vans and even better food to eat. At the initial phase of my career, I have faced such issues."

Further, she added, "By the end of my second show (Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki), I realised my worth and I refused to be treated less than anyone else. I realised that I wasn’t being paid well, and then I asked for more. I realised people want to see me more; then why should I get less money?"
On the work front, Tejasswi is currently seen on the cooking based show Celebrity MasterChef India. Farah Khan has joined as the host for the first time, while Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar have reprised their roles as judges from the original series.
Celebrity MasterChef airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM.
