Tamil actor Vishal Krishna Reddy, popularly known as Vishal, left his fans concerned after he attended the pre-release event of his upcoming film, Madha Gaja Raja in Chennai on Sunday evening. The actor was seen shivering and struggling to speak as he interacted with the audience at the event.
A video of the actor has now gone viral in which his hands can be seen shaking and shivering as he addressed the crowd at the event. He also seemed to zone out and struggle to speak as he delivered his speech.
Even while entering the venue, Vishal was accompanied by an assistant, who held him tight and supported him to walk.
As soon as videos of the actor's condition went viral, concerned fans wondered what was wrong with his health. As per reports, Vishal was suffering from high fever, which is why he was shivering. Fans also lauded the actor's commitment to attend the event despite his ill health.
"#Vishal anna's handling are shivering, he's struggling to speak or thinking a lottttttt, looks aged and few saying as he has high fever. Feeling so badddd for him (sic)," a fan wrote on X, while another stated, "#Vishal came to the event even with a high degree fever (sic)."
Vishal and his team are yet to issue an official statement.
Meanwhile, the event was graced by the cast and crew of the film. Actress-turned-politician and wife of director Sundar C, Khusbhu Sundar, was also present at the pre-release event and she was seen greeting Vishal with a warm hug.
Madha Gaja Raja also stars Santhanam, Anjali, Sonu Sood, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and the late Manobala. Directed by Sundar C, the film was supposed to release in 2013. However, due to financial issues and legal complications, the film was delayed by a decade, and it is now finally set to see the light of the day on January 12, 2025.
