As we celebrate Sushant Singh Rajput‘s 33rd birthday today, we penned down how over the years, especially after his break up with actress Ankita Lokhande, the Kai Po Che actor has turned into a completely different person.
One can vividly remember the time when Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che. He was fun, humble and head over heels in love with Ankita. However, post his break up with Ankita, we have seen a completely different side of Sushant. Whether it’s Sushant’s media brawls or his tantrum problem on the sets or the new found love for self-musing, the actor has definitely gone into major transformation as a person
So while we wish love and prosperity to Sushant on his birthday, we list down five things which proves that he is no more the same Sushant whose innocence and charm were enough to make anyone fall in love with him
Choosing to remain aloof
It’s not like Rajput was best buddies with film fraternity. However, he did have his share of fun banters with actors like Ranveer Singh and Rajkummar Rao when he was dating Ankita. However, post his break up, the actor chooses to remain aloof and never tries to mingle with his Bollywood contemporaries. A drastic change in his behaviour was sensed when during the Raabta promotions, on being asked how does he felt on receiving Big B’s appreciation letter for his work in MS Dhoni. The actor had a very cool response and said that its up to him whether to feel great or normal about the letter. Not only that Sushant, out of the blue, even took a sly dig at Ranveer Singh when he said that he would have never done a film like Befikre.
Break up with Kriti Sanon
After breaking up with Ankita, the only saving grace was his alleged relationship with Kriti Sanon. The couple, although they never admitted of their affair, were often seen painting the town red. In fact, Sushant was also spotted with Kriti’s parents on a few occasions. It was safe to say that Kriti did bring the sanity and calmness in Sushant’s life. However, after dating each other for a brief period, the couple called it quits
When having a brawl with media became too common for Sushant
Sushant was caught in a verbal spat with a journalist at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Raabta when asked about Pakistan’s decision to execute Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav on charges of spying. He again reportedly lost his cool when journalists asked about plagiarism charges against ‘Raabta’ by producers of Telugu film ‘Magadheera’. The actor’s attitude also came under the scanner during the group interviews of MS Dhoni: The untold story, where journalist complained about the actor’s rude behaviour
When he became controversy’s favourite child
Sushant once misbehaved with Sooraj Pancholi out of the blue which left the latter shocked and stunned. When Salman came to know about Kedarnath actor’s misbehaviour, he intermediately called Sushant and gave him an earful after which Sushant promised to never repeat his mistake again. Even recently, the actor came under the scanner for misbehaving with an old man in a flight during the promotions of Kedarnath. However, the biggest controversy in which he was embroiled was definitely when he was accused of sexually harassing his Kizie Aur Manny co star Sanjana Sanghi in the wake of MeToo movement. Fortunately, Sanjana later cleared the air and stated that Sushant never misbehaved with him.
Self-musing
One look at Sushnat Singh Rajput’s Instagram post and you will understand what we are trying to say. His every post is related to him, his dreams and his visions. Of late, he has indulged in a lot of self-musing and you will rarely find him at any social gathering or party. However, the one good thing which has happened is, he has become very close to his fans and tries to reply each of his fans on social media.
While Sushant and Ankita fans are still heartbroken over the fact that the duo are no longer with each other, they heaved a sigh of relief when Sushant and Ankita recently exchanged pleasantries on social media.
