Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has addressed rumours regarding her marriage after revealing earlier this year that she lives separately with their children, Tina and Yashvardhan. Her statement had sparked speculation about trouble in their relationship, but she has now firmly dismissed such claims.
In a recent interview with Shirdi Today, Sunita made it clear that her bond with Govinda remains strong. She stated, "Nobody can separate us. I have a lot of fun with him. There are people who want to break homes more than outsiders. I won't let anyone break homes. I will win because Baba is with me."
She also shared advice for women on handling relationships, adding, "Take care of your men. Men are like cricket - sometimes good, sometimes bad. I have always told women to hold their men in their hands like I have. If you can't hold them, hit them."
Earlier, in an interview, Sunita explained the reason behind their separate living arrangements. She revealed that their family owns two houses, including a bungalow and an apartment. She lives in the apartment with their children, while Govinda prefers staying at the bungalow.
"We have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat, whereas he gets late after his meetings. He loves talking, so he’ll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. On the other hand, my son, my daughter, and I live together, but we hardly talk because I feel that talking too much drains your energy."
With these clarifications, Sunita has put an end to speculations, reiterating that despite their unique living arrangements, their relationship remains intact.
Govinda and Sunita have been married for over 37 years, They tied the knot in 1987 when Govinda was still establishing himself in Bollywood.
