SRK to do cameo for Nagesh Kukunoor’s DHANAK

After actor Ranveer Singh doing a cameo in ‘good-friend’ Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film ‘Finding Fanny’, now the news is that superstar Shah Rukh Khan too has done a cameo role in his friend Nageesh Kukunoor’s film! What’s more, SRK’s cameo is for Kukunoor’s Marathi film ‘Dhanak’, for which he recently shot in Rajasthan. ‘Dhanak’ is a remake of an Iranian film ‘Besak’.

Sartaj Aulakh (‘Dhanak’s first assistant director), revealed that despite a busy schedule the Shah Rukh shot for his portions for two days, after which they used a body double in the film. And though Shah Rukh Khan’s role in the film is not disclosed yet, buzz is that the superstar would be playing himself in the film. He will also be seen endorsing the noble cause of eye donation! Meanwhile, in other news, according to some TV reports, Shah Rukh Khan has been provided with additional security by Mumbai police after gangster Ravi Pujari allegedly tried to get in touch with him on Monday afternoon. Police officials though say that the additional security for SRK is just for precaution. The actor was recently spotted with his eldest son Aryan at the Mumbai airport.
