Bollywood actor Sonu Sood came to the aid of late Tollywood actor Fish Venkat's family days after his death due to kidney failure. Before the actor's death, the family pleaded for monetary help from Tollywood celebs, but he could not make it till the time help arrived. Thus, to support his family, Sood gave them Rs 1.50 lakh.
According to information shared by Sonu's team, the actor had offered help to Fish Venkat's family hoping that he was still in the hospital and would make it, but he was shocked to know when he found out that the actor had passed away.
He then transferred Rs 1.50 lakh to Venkat's family as a token of support to help them during these testing times.
The statement mentioned that Sonu also personally spoke to Venkat's wife and other family members over a phone call, and assured them that he would support them whenever needed.
Did Prabhas offer Rs 50 lakh to Fish Venkat?
For those unversed, Prabhas had reportedly offered Rs 50 lakh to Venkat's family to cover the cost of the actor's kidney transplant. Venkat's daughter, Sravanthi, had shared that Prabhas' team had reached out to offer financial support.
However, the family did not receive the monetary aid even days after the offer was made.
"Some unknown person called us pretending to be Prabhas Anna’s assistant. We found out after that it was a fake call. He doesn’t even know something like this is happening. We have not received any financial help yet," shared a family member.
