Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been all over the news of late as reports of them heading for divorce surfaced on Tuesday. Amid the chatter, an old video of Sunita speaking about extra-marital affairs has now gone viral, in which she can also be seen imparting some advice to women.
The viral clip seems to be from her old interview with Hautterfly, in which she can be heard saying, "I am saying this to all the girls and wives. Never in your life tell your boyfriend or husband that he does not do anything (cheating). Because if he does, then he'll sh*t all over the place, and he'll mess up so bad, it'll take you forever to clean it up, lekin vo saali nikalegi nahi. Aap life se nikal jaoge, lekin nikalti nahi vo item."
Sunita did not mention if she was talking about Govinda's link-up rumours or someone else, and she refrained from taking names as well.
In another interview, Sunita had said that while Govinda's link-up rumours never bothered her when he was at his peak, she would be uncomfortable if they surface now, after he has turned 60. In her signature witty style, Sunita teased, "60 ke baad log sathiya jaate hain… you never know what he will do."
Meanwhile, after reports went viral that Govinda and Sunita were set to end their 37 years of marriage, the former's secretary Shashi told ABP that they were just baseless and exaggerated claims. "Sunita must have given some interviews, and someone must have exaggerated her words, which is why such news is spreading," he said.
Govinda and Sunita tied the knot on March 11, 1987, and have two children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan.
