The much-awaited trailer of Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par was released on Tuesday. The film marks his return to the big screens after a gap of three years, and everyone was quite exicted for the movie. While Aamir's fans are of course loving the trailer, other netizens are not much impressed with it. Sitaare Zameen Par is a remake of a Spanish film titled Champions and netizens are tweeting that the Aamir Khan starrer is a frame to framce copy of the the original movie.
A netizen tweeted, "Copy frame by frame... Sitaare Zameen Par , he has nothing new to offer? SHAME! (sic)." Another X user wrote, "#SitaareZameenPar is a copy paste of spanish movie champions (sic)."
One more netizen tweeted, "Aamir Khan is called a perfectionist after doing scene to scene copy of movie successively in LSC and #SitaareZameenPar The emotional quotient is missing and Amir can never pull of a chak de india because there is only one sun. Sitaare Zameen Release Date
Sitaare Zameen Par is spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par which was released in 2007. The movie, which is directed by RS Prasanna, is slated to release on June 20, 2025.
The trailer of the movie was supposed to be out on May 1, but it was postponed due to Pahalgam attack. Later, the makers decided to release it on May 8, but it was once again postponed due to India-Pakistan conflict. However, finally, on Tuesday it was released.
