Shiney Ahuja’s controversial life could be the next biopic

Amidst all the historical biopics and hero stories we could get a controversial biopic. Shiney Ahuja, has lived a controversial life and filmmaker Kumar Mangat is planning for an actor’s life inspired biopic.

The actor known for films like Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, led a very controversial life. In 2009 he was accused of rape by his 18 year old maid which landed him a sentence to seven years in prison. Shiney Ahuja is out on bail since 2011.

Kumar has denied the speculations but the refusal has been looked as a distraction. A Deccan Chronicle source revealed, “The producer has not got Shiney Ahuja’s consent to make the film. He is, therefore, keeping it under wraps.”

If the film’s content won’t be controversial enough it will also cause more trouble for the makers with the #Metoo movement going on. Kumar Mangat known to present films like Omkara, Waqt and Raid could actually make it work.

Shiney was last seen in Anees Bazmee’s multi-starrer ‘Welcome Back’, in 2015. Shiney shared screen space with John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Naseeruddin Shah and Shruti Haasan.
