Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly said to have sustained a back injury on the sets of his upcoming film King during an action sequence, leading to speculation that the production schedule had been affected, with filming expected to resume in September. Reports also claimed that the actor had travelled to the United States for preliminary treatment.
Shah Rukh Khan NOT Injured
However, latest reports now clarify that the actor is not injured.
According to NDTV, Shah Rukh, who has sustained injuries during various shoots in the past, occasionally experiences flare-ups, which require him to visit the US from time to time for treatment and care. A close source shared that the rumours of the actor suffering a back injury on the sets of King are completely 'untrue.'
King Cast
King also features Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, in the lead role, marking the father-daughter duo’s first on-screen collaboration.
According to several reports making the rounds, King will have several stars being a part of it, such as Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma, to name a few.
However, an official announcement is yet to be made.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, which also starred Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochar, and Vicky Kaushal.
The film was released on December 21, 2023.
Before Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan starred in the action thriller Jawan, directed by Atlee.
