One film that has taken the trade and the industry by surprise is Sanam Teri Kasam. The film, which was originally released in 2016, was a box office dud at that time. It had collected Rs. 9.11 crore, but was made on a budget of Rs. 14 crore. Now, during its re-release in its first weekend itself, the film has surpassed its budget.
It was expected that the film will show a drop at the box office Monday onwards. While there's a drop, the number are still excellent. According to Sacnilk, Sanam Teri Kasam on its day four has collected Rs. 3-3.25 crore which is very good. So, the 4-day collection is Rs. 18.50 crore.
The surprising part here is that the Monday collection of Sanam Teri Kasam is more than the total collection of other releases like Sky Force, Badass Ravi Kumar, and Loveyapa.
Sky Force on its day 18 collected Rs. 45 lakh taking the total to Rs. 110.25 crore. Meanwhile, Badass Ravi Kumar and Loveyapa both collected Rs. 60 lakh respectively on day 4.
Sanam Teri Kasam numbers are simply excellent. For now, it looks liek the movie will collected Rs. 25 crore by the end of the week one. It will face a tough competition with Chhaava from February 14 onwards. However, still it is expected that the movie will do well in the second week of its re-release.

We can expect that the lifetime collection of Sanam Teri Kasam in its re-release can reach till Rs.40 crore. However, if the film continues to do well at the box office, then it can reach Rs. 50 crore as well. So, let's wait and watch.
