Republic Day brings back nostalgia for me as while I was in school I would go to New Delhi and watch the Republic Day parade which is held in a grand manner. Now unfortunately it has become just one of those days, but yes I do remember the Republic Day Parade.

Republic Day is very important in the context of it being the acceptance of the Constitution of the country on this very day in 1950 and my wish is that everyone should follow the rules and regulations of the Constitution to the best of each person’s abilities. I make it a point to go for flag hoisting functions whenever and wherever it is possible for me.

Republic Day is a very important day for me as our country got total freedom on this day and I celebrate it generally by watching on television the Republic Day Parade floats from different states and their magnificence. It’s a very honourable day for me.

I am an army family boy and my father is a senior army official and I always make it a point to call my father on this day since he has sacrificed so much for the country. Now being here in Mumbai I make it a point to do some good deeds for less fortunate people and help them in any way that is possible for me.
