Reel Awards dedicated to recognise films under Rs 25 crore brought more fame last night to deserving films like Badhaai Ho, Raazi, AndhaDhun and more. The red carpet saw several celeb nominees, jury members among others who came to cheer the winners.
Spotted at the red carpet were actors Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Ahana Kumra, Shibani Dandekar, Pankaj Tripathi and others.
Shibani Dandekar hosted the awards show in a pink double slit dress from ‘Lola by Suman B’. Alia Bhatt who also won the Best Actor Female for ‘Raazi’ was seen in red Sabyasachi saree and her hair tied in a bun paired with chand balis.
The actress also performed a couple of steps from the song Ghar More Pardesiya, from her upcoming film Kalank.
Dia one of the jury members wore a black dress to the event, while Ahana was seen in an olive green pantsuit. Aparshakti was seen sporting a grey jacket, while Gajraj and Boman were seen in classic tuxedos.
Others spotted at the event include actors Gajraj Rao, Sobhita Dhulipala, Konkona Sen Sharma, Rasika Dugal, director Sriram Raghavan, and composer Amit Trivedi.
As for the winners, Badhaai Ho won the Best Film award, the Best Actor award presented to Gajraj Rao and Best Supporting Actor award to Surekha Sikri. Meanwhile Andhadhun’s director Sriram Raghavan won the Best Director award.
