Rapper Bilal Shaikh, better known by his stage name Emiway Bantai, was involved in a freak accident while shooting a stunt for his upcoming track. The rapper fell head-first out of a moving car after he lost balance as the car jerked. A video of the incident has now gone viral.
In the video, Emiway can be seen sitting on the window of a moving car while shooting for his next track. It was then that the car jerked and he lost his balance, falling face-first out of the moving SUV. The cameraperson quickly rushed to the rapper, who was moved to safety.
As the video went viral, fans of the rapper advised him to be cautious and not risk his life for the sake of music videos. Some also lauded his dedication towards his craft and prayed for his safety.
Stuntman SM Raju's death
Emiway's accident scare comes days after the death of renowned stuntman SM Raju on the sets of filmmaker Pa Ranjith's upcoming film. The stuntman passed away after his car could not land on a ramp correctly due to which it flipped multiple times mid-air before landing with a thud.
His death has raised concern and conversations around safety on film sets during the shoot of high-octane stunts.
