The big day is here and we can’t wait to see first glimpses of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Konkani wedding right from Lake Como, Italy. Amidst all the excitement, a recent report states that groom Ranveer hugged and consoled his emotional bride Deepika at their sangeet and mehendi ceremony which took place on November 13. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the bride-to-be Deepika got emotional and broke down in tears while Shubha Mudgal was performing. Soon after Deepika turned emotional, Dulhe Raja Ranveer walked up to his lady love, hugged her and made her smile again.
A source quoted an entertainment portal, “Shubha Mudgal was performing a thumri when Deepika Padukone got emotional and was in tears. When she broke down, Ranveer, who could understand her emotional state, walked up to her and hugged her tight and consoled his lady love. He ensured she was smiling again with all his crazy love antics.” The reports further state that DeepVeer kick-started their wedding celebrations with a grand ceremony in which Ranveer sang Tune Maari Entriyaan for Deepika and the couple later grooved to old Hindi classics.
Apart from Konkani wedding, Ranveer and Deepika will also get married in Sindhi style wedding on November 15. Notably, the couple has made sure to maintain the privacy of their wedding, their fans back home are eagerly waiting to see pictures of their wedding functions.
