Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited and highly anticipated film Animal, recently revealed that he quit smoking and also shaved his head for the film. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

In a video doing the rounds on social media, Ranbir opens up about his preparation for the action-thriller. The actor revealed he shaved his head for the film's last scene and that he is now growing his hair back.

Ranbir also talked about his diet. "Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates," he said.

A few days back, Ranbir was seen sporting a clean-shaven look and neatly cut hair in the city after flaunting his overgrown mane for over a year.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Ranbir, who will reportedly play Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan, has decided to let go of meat and other non-vegetarian food, in order to "feel clean" from within. He has also decided to abstain from consuming alcohol to do justice to his part in the film.
