Raja Chaudhary married actress Shweta Tiwari in 1998, but their relationship was marred by turbulence and ended in separation in 2007. Shweta filed for divorce in 2012 citing domestic violence and Raja's drinking problem. Years later, Raja has now accused his ex-wife of having an extramarital affair with her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star Cezanne Khan, revealing that he believes he should have ended their marriage back in 2003.
Appearing on Pinkvilla's Hindi Rush podcast, Raja said, "Divorce joh humara 2012 mai hua hai voh 2003 mai hi ho jaana chahiye tha." Raja revealed that he had once seen Shweta arriving on the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay in Cezanne's car. This incident, according to him, raised suspicions and made him question the nature of their relationship at the time.
He added, "Ek gaadi thi. Usme meri documents the aur muje kahi jaana tha toh mai aaya uske shooting pe. Aake dekh rha hu ki gaadi joh hai voh Cezanne ke driver ke sath aa rahi hai voh. Gaadi aur voh aa rahi hai, uske sath bait kar. Joh subhe se shooting chal rahi hai, abhi tak toh set par bhi nahi poche hai."
Further, Raja added that despite witnessing the incident, he chose to trust Shweta, assuming that she and Cezanne might have gone for a meeting.

In an old interview with BollywoodLife, Shweta had reacted to the dating rumours with Cezanne, stating that she had a lot of issues with him.
She also added, "I supposedly had affairs with multiple guys! Really? When? Has anyone ever seen me at coffee shops or restaurants? Has anyone ever seen me at parties? I shoot for 30 days a month for KZK. Where in the world do I have the time for an affair? They even say that I recently patched up with him. Why the hell should I patch up with him? I hate him!!"
Shweta Tiwari is yet to react to Raja's shocking claims about her alleged extramarital affair.
