Recently, Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming TV show was doing the rounds with its speculated cast and the storyline. Apparently, the rumours can rest as the television’s boss babe herself has launched the promo of her new addition called Dil Hi To Hai. The show will have hottie Karan Kundrra as the male lead.
The actor himself took to his social media pages to share the first promo and it’s no harm to say that the show does look promising. With an ethereal background score, this promo revolves around Karan’s character and his lead actress Yogita Bihani.
Karan is seen playing a womaniser business tycoon with a troublesome past. With an opulent set up, the show is bound to entice the Indian audience.
Dil Hi Toh Hai will premiere on TV from June 11 and play on the 10 pm slot.
Earlier, it was reported that Karan Kundrra was not Ekta’s initial choice and that it could have been bagged by Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor, Omkar Kapoor. However, Omkar was replaced by the makers during the promo shoot. Other names that have popped up for the show include Poonam Dhillon, Bijoy Anand, Rajat Tokas, Pooja Banerjee and many more, who are yet to be finalised.
