Earlier today, Rajinikanth, penned a heartfelt note to his fans, expressing gratitude to political leaders, colleagues, and well-wishers after recently completing 50 years in Indian cinema. In his statement, he called his fans the 'Gods' who keep him alive, reflecting on his recent milestone.
On Friday (August 15), the actor extended Independence Day wishes and shared an official statement in Tamil, that read, "My heartfelt thanks go to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami, BJP leader Nainar Nagendiran, my friend Annamalai, madam Sasikala, Dhinakaran, madam Premalatha, and to other friends in politics who complimented me on my 50-year journey in the film industry."
