Amid escalating tensions between India-Pakistan, Pakistani actors Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, and Mawra Hocane have been removed from their respective Bollywood film posters on music platforms. This action follows controversial anti-India comments made by the trio after Operation Sindoor, a military strike on terror launch pads in Pakistan and PoK, in retaliation for the deadly Pahalgam attack.

Pakistani actors Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan and Mawra Hocane, who starred in Raees, Kapoor & Sons and Sanam Teri Kasam, respectively, have been wiped off from their Hindi film posters on music platforms amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.

This move comes just days after Mahira, Fawad and Mawra made anti-India comments following India's Operation Sindoor, in which the Indian forces targeted and struck nine terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to avenge the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed 26 lives.

Harshvardhan sarcastically reacted to Mawra being removed from Sanam Teri Kasam posters, stating how Mawra might once again think his PR team was behind it. "No, its again common sense I assume, weeding is being exercised," he told Hindustan Times.

This remark came after Mawra had previously criticised Harshvardhan's exit from Sanam Teri Kasam 2, accusing him of using it as a 'PR strategy' and calling him 'so hungry and desperate' for his next project, especially during the tensions between India and Pakistan.

Take a look at how netizens reacted:

Netizens on social media seemed impressed by this strong move.

Meanwhile, the Instagram accounts of Hania Aamir, Fawad Khan, Mawra Hocane, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, Sajal Aly, and Mahira Khan, among others have been banned in India
