Actress Nora Fatehi, who has turned director and choreographer for her international single 'Dirty Little Secret', recently opened up about the challenges of being behind the camera.

Nora not only choreographed and directed the song but also handpicked the dancers for ‘Dirty Little Secret’ over the years and gave them a dream platform to shine.

However, every aspect comes with its own set of challenges and directing is surely no easy task. The international single that has garnered over 14 million YouTube views has been hailed as one of the most iconic, high octane song, and one that is on par with international music videos.

But what’s even more remarkable is that this multi-talented and versatile artist, also put the spotlight on her background dancers at the end of the track. Nora has a knack for identifying talent and used her stardom to provide them a platform to shine, introducing them individually to the world in the video as well.

Nora opens up about the challenges she faced in the role of a director and stated, "It requires a lot of pre-planning."

“It was physically exhausting, especially the last day of the shoot. We shot for around 20 hours. [I had to make sure] that the dancers were in sync; the lighting would take time, but it all came alive during the editing," she added.

She also felt that her experience in the past few years is what gave her an edge as a director. Nora adds, "When you are an artist, you just know when it’s the right shot or when the set-up is correct. Similarly, as a director, you just know when [all the aspects] are fitting together [seamlessly]. As a creative person, so much is going on in my mind. I want those ideas to come alive. It’s tough to be behind the camera and in front of it, but it gives a sense of satisfaction when you see the end result.”
