Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Zainab Ravdjee on June 6, 2025, in an intimate ceremony held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a venue founded by Akhil’s grandfather, the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Akhil's half-brother Naga Chaitanya and his wife Sobhita Dhulipala were present at the wedding, along with several other prominent celebrities, including director Prashant Neel, Daggubati Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and his wife Upasana.
Hours after the wedding, Nagarjuna shared dreamy photos from his son Akhil's wedding to Zainab. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), the 65-year-old actor wrote, "With immense joy, Amala and I are delighted to share that our dear son has married his beloved Zainab in a beautiful ceremony (3:35 am) at our home, where our hearts belong. We watched a dream come true surrounded by love, laughter, and those dearest to us. We seek your blessings as they begin this new journey together. With love and gratitude."

In the photos, Akhil and Zainab embraced traditional South Indian wedding attire. Akhil wore an all-white kurta and dhoti, while Zainab looked stunning in a beautiful silk off-white saree complemented by a shimmering golden blouse.
The couple got engaged in November 2024. Sharing the photos with his fiance, Akhil wrote, "Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged."

Who is Zainab Ravdjee
Zainab Ravdjee, daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, hails from Hyderabad and is currently based in Mumbai. She had a brief acting stint and appeared in Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities, directed by the legendary artist and filmmaker M.F. Husain, where she played Naghma’s companion alongside Tabu and Kunal Kapoor.
Despite being in a relationship with Akhil, Zainab has consistently preferred to keep her life private, staying away from the media spotlight.
