Bollywood actress Richa Chadha celebrated the first birthday of her daughter, Zuneyra, on Wednesday, but as she put up a long post describing her motherhood journey, she was called out for saying it was a "natural birth". As netizens schooled her for using the term, the actress did not hold back and responded to them saying that she was free to choose her words.
Richa took to her Instagram handle and shared a video montage of some adorable moments of Zuneyra with Ali Fazal and herself. Along with that, she wrote, "A year ago I gave birth to a healthy baby girl at Breach Candy Hospital. Labour lasted a few hours, delivery only about 20 minutes, natural birth! Life hasn’t been the same since, particularly me… I feel rearranged from the insides out… my brain, my heart, my body, my soul (sic)."
"Zuneyra was born a year ago and so was I. Reborn as a mom. An entirely new being, than what existed before. A life and child with the man of your dreams… if this isn’t a blessing I don’t know what is (sic)," her post read.

Netizens react to Richa's post
As soon as she shared the note, some netizens objected to the use of the term, 'natural birth', and said that all kinds of birth are natural. A user then pointed out that Richa must use the term 'vaginal birth' instead. "It’s called vaginal delivery... Every women carries the child naturally in her for 9 months and delivers them naturally (sic)," the user commented.

Not one to mince words, Richa responded, "But what if I don't wanna say vaginally delivery, it is my page and also my vagina and my baby. And feminism taught me to use words of my choosing (sic)."
