After the Kiki and Handcuff challenge, a new challenge has taken internet by storm and it’s called Microwave Challenge. The new online trend became famous on the vlogging app TikTok and it involves people sitting on the floor and spinning around like a microwave plate. However, the challenge here is to spin without moving their arms or legs.
However the idea of the trend came from a dance step performed by famous Korean band, BTS in their practice video back in 2016. Not just the steps, but the background song used while making the treading video is also sung by Jolji and the name of the song is “Slow Dancing in the Dark.”
