Bollywood actress and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar often makes headlines because of her personal life. Recently, in an interview, she denied rumours of dating actor Veer Pahariya, who made his acting debut with Akshay Kumar's Sky Force.
Manushi, who has often been spotted with Veer, denied any romantic involvement, and describes him as a 'good friend'.
In an interview with Bombay Times, she expressed her thoughts on how public perception often misinterprets her friendships. "A lot of things written about my personal life have been completely false. If I spend too much time with my girlfriends, does it mean I’m not interested in boys? And if I hang out with a male friend, does it automatically mean we’re dating?" Manushi questioned.
The actress added that while she has grown accustomed to such speculations, it still amuses her that people struggle to believe that a man and a woman can simply share a platonic bond.
Despite the multiple sightings of Manushi and Veer together, the actress maintains that there is no romance brewing. Reacting to their viral videos and photos from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in July 2024, Manushi said, "Oh, my God, poor Veer. No way. No (we are not dating), absolutely not. He’s a good friend. He was lovely enough to give me company during a wedding where I didn’t know anyone. That’s pretty much it. That’s my only interaction with the boy."
Manushi and Veer's dating rumours
Last year, it was reported that they started dating before Anant and Radhika's wedding and that they vacationed together in London.
In 2021, Manushi started dating businessman Nikhil Kamath. The couple kept their relationship private, but frequently travelled together. However, last year, there were reports that the two have parted ways after Nikhil was linked with Rhea Chakraborty.
On the other hand, Veer was dating Sara Ali Khan in the past. The two were spotted together at events and trips. Post their separation, he was also rumoured to be dating former Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu.
