Following the death of filmmaker Arghya Basu, Comedian Mallika Dua and Singer Sona Mohaptra recently got into a Twitter war where both women have questioned each other’s feminism.

It so happened that last year during the MeToo movement, Nishtha Jain who is mostly known for her documentaries like Gulabi Gang and is also a close friend of Sona, accused filmmaker Arghya Basu of sexual harassment, which was denied by him. On March 1, Arghya Basu was found dead in his Kolkata apartment. According to the Police, he apparently took his life as he was suffering from severe depression.

For those unaware Nishtha Jain, has also accused Mallika’s father Vinod Dua of sexual harassment during the wake of MeToo movement.

Referring to Arghya’s demise, Dua took to Twitter and posted the below tweets where she has questioned the silence of Sona and her best friend Nishtha over Basu’s death. Check out the series of tweets posted by Mallika.

Sona who is known to wear her heart on her sleeves, didn’t spare Mallika and in response to her tweets posted a hard hitting Facebook post. Check it out below.
