Animated mythological film Mahavatar Narsimha has surprised one and all. The film, which was released in theatres with minimal buzz, has become the talk of the town. The Ashwin Kumar directorial started on a slow note with a collection of Rs. 1.75 crore (all languages), but on Saturday and Sunday, it showed a huge jump at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, on Saturday, the movie collected Rs. 4.60 crore (all languages), and on Sunday, it once again showed a jump and minted Rs. 9.50 crore (all languages), taking the three-day total to Rs. 15.85 crore which is an excellent amount.

Now, on its fourth day, Monday, Mahavatar Narsimha is expected to once again collect an amazing amount. As per early estimates, we can expect the movie to collect around Rs. 4-5 crore on day four. So, the four-day total will be around Rs. 20 crore. However, if during the night shows, the movie grows at the box office, then we can expect the collection to be more than Rs. 5 crore.
Mahavatar Narsimha is the perfect example of what word of mouth can do. The growth that the movie has shown at the box office is exceptional. We can expect that by the end of its first week, the movie will easuly collect around Rs. 30-35 crore.
Mahavatar Narsimha Reviews
The movie has received positive reviews from one and all. The Free Press Journal reviewer gave the film 3.5 stars and wrote, "Mahavatar Narsimha may not match Pixar in polish, but in ambition, heart, and cultural rootedness, it’s a homegrown triumph. It proves that animated storytelling in India need not be infantile or ironic. It can be intense, introspective, and wildly imaginative—like the stories our grandmothers told us, only now in 3D and widescreen."
