South Korean actor Kim Do-Hoon, who was last seen in the K-drama Love Scout, met with an accident on the sets of his upcoming project, Dear X. The actor fractured his arm in a freak bike accident, and he had to undergo immediate surgery.
According to reports, Do-Hoon fractured his left forearm while practicing riding a motorcycle during the shoot of Dear X last week. However, it led to a major accident and the actor was rushed to the hospital.
His agency, PEAK J Entertainment, issued an official statement and informed his fans that Do-Hoon underwent a surgery and was recovering. "Kim Do Hoon sustained a fracture in his left forearm while riding a motorcycle during the filming of the drama ‘Dear X'. He is currently recuperating at a hospital," the statement read.
The 26-year-old has reportedly been prescribed to a recovery period of 24 weeks. The shoot of Dear X has been halted for the time being.
The news of Do-Hoon's accident left his fans concerned and heartbroken as it meant that his upcoming projects would get delayed. "Get well soon" messages poured in for the actor from all his K-drama fans.
Kim Do-Hoon shot to fame with his role in the show, Today's Webtoon, followed by The Escape of the Seven and Moving. He has also featured in Your Honor, Agents Of Mystery, Here's My Plan and other dramas.
He was last seen in the much-loved Love Scout, which topped the charts upon its release. The show followed the much-explored K-drama theme of office romance, but the fresh pairing and storyline won the hearts of the audience.
