YouTuber-turned-actress Prajakta Koli aka 'Mostly Sane' got married to her longtime boyfriend Vrishank Khanal on February 25 after dating for more than 13 years. Ever since she shared her wedding photos and videos, fans as well as several celebrities have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the newlyweds.
However, netizens couldn’t help but notice the delayed congratulatory post from Prajakta's close friend and Mismatched co-star, Rohit Saraf. While Rohit remained silent about her wedding, some social media users speculated that something seemed 'off' between them, even suggesting a possible fallout.
Others also stated on Reddit that Rohit's post was 'sad' and 'just for formality'.
Two days after the wedding, Rohit took to his Instagram story and re-shared Prajakta and Vrishank joint post, featuring their wedding photos, and wrote, "Congratulations, you both make the most beautiful couple," along with a red heart emoji.

Soon after Rohit shared the story, netizens speculated whether it was prompted by a Reddit post discussing his alleged fallout with Prajakta. Since Prajakta got married on the February 25, many found it suspicious that Rohit was active on social media but took over 24 hours to congratulate her.
Rohit Saraf's fans defend him
However, after Rohit was questioned, his fans came out to support him and slammed those who have been criticising him.
A user wrote on Reddit, "Kare to bhi dikkat na kare to bhi dikkat 😭"
"Maybe he is not as obsessed with her wedding as this sub is. I mean people could be busy. Stop speculating," wrote another user.
"Yeah.. because of a bunch of nameless faceless nobody who has nothing important in their life other than speculating who is dating whom...he got under pressure and posted this," read another comment.
Speculating why Rohit was late in congratulating Prajakta, a user commented, "Nope... Just the fact that he has a job and would be busy."
"Come on guys, he must be busy in his work, of course, he could have possibly wished her on the same day, but just posted in Instagram took time," a fan of Rohit wrote.
Another angry fan commented, "Leave him alone for God's sake."
"How can a social media post now a days decide who r friends or in terms etc ?? Is social media validation everything ??? "asked a fan.
Rohit and Prajakta share a close bond that extends beyond their on-screen chemistry in Mismatched. Their close friendship has often been seen through social media posts, interviews, and public appearances, where they’ve expressed mutual admiration and support.
Fans have always adored their fun camaraderie, which includes playful banter.
Prajakta and Vrishank's love story
Prajakta and Vrishank began dating when they were in college, and the two have never shied away from acknowledging their relationship in public. They got married on February 25 in Karjat, in the presence of their close friends and family members.
Both of them opted for ivory bridal attires from the shelves of Anita Dongre for the main wedding, followed by their Nepalese look for the reception.
It was in 2023 when Prajakta and Vrishank announced their engagement. Flaunting her diamond ring, the actress wrote on Instagram, "Vrishank Khanal, is now my ex-boyfriend."
Opening up about the proposal later, Vrishank told Vogue, "I was planning the proposal for a long time. We were on a camping trip to West Virginia, with my sister and cousins based in the US. There’s a very scenic waterfall trail and I wanted to pop the question there. I tried to make it as discreet as possible."
"But I had an intuition about it, so I had already gotten my nails done," Prajakta quipped.
