‘Michael Madana Kamarajan’ writer says actor owes him Rs 11 lakhs.
Writer Kader Kashmiri who had written the story of the film ‘Michael Madana Kamarajan’ starring Kamal Haasan is yet to receive his dues of Rs 11 lakh for the story. But Haasan who also produced the film has not bothered to pay the amount.
Kashmiri had filed a case and in the hearing on January 21 in the Bombay High Court, the judge told both the parties to settle the issue within two months.
A dejected Kashmiri, who has been taking treatment for diabetes, said: Haasan has failed to fulfil his promise, made verbally. He is such a towering personality, so I trusted him. But he proved unworthy of my trust.”
