The film is set to be released directly on ZEE5, starting from July 4, 2025. Taking to Instagram handle, Abhishek confirmed that Kaalidhar Laapata will premiere on July 4 on ZEE5. Storyline
Kaalidhar Laapata narrates the tale of Kaalidhar, an elderly man who flees upon discovering that his family intends to leave him behind. He encounters a young, orphaned boy called Ballu, and their surprising friendship ignites a path of self-exploration and delight, brimming with a whimsical bucket list and everyday moments of joy. The movie delves into topics of isolation, interpersonal relationships, and discovering optimism in surprising settings.
