Actor Sunny Deol is back in theatres with a bang as his latest film, Jaat, released in theatres on April 10, Thursday. The Jaat fever has already gripped the nation, and fans of the actor in Haryana went a step further to pile up in tractors and trucks and thronged the theatres to catch the film.
A video from a town in Haryana has now gone viral in which fans can be seen taking out what seems like an entire procession to celebrate the release of Jaat. Posters of Jaat can be seen propped up on the trucks and tractors, and DJ music was also played in one of the trucks. People climbed over the trucks and inside the tractors, and many followed the procession on their scooters and motorcycles, and all of them moved towards the cinema hall to watch the film.
This is not the first time that something like this has happened for a Sunny Deol film. When Gadar 2 released in 2023, people were seen piling up in trucks and reaching theatres to watch the film on the big screen.
Jaat once again sees Sunny in his much-loved angry action avatar, and this time, he is not fighting against the neighbouring country, but against the goons and gangsters in a remote coastal town of India. The film is laced with action, drama, emotions, and of course, some powerpacked dialogues by Sunny.
The film opened with Rs 9.50 crore at the box office, but it is expected to see a surge over the weekend, thanks to the positive reviews and a strong word of mouth.
Jaat also stars Randeep Hooda as the main antagonist, along with Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, Urvashi Rautela, Saiyami Kher, Ayesha Khan and others.
