Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently grabbed eyeballs after fans noticed a faded tattoo on her wrist and wondered if she was getting rid of it. Interestingly, the tattoo in question is the same one that her former husband Naga Chaitanya and the actress got inked on their wrists together post their wedding.
On Sunday morning, Samantha took to her Instagram handle to share a series of photos, and in one of them, she can be seen sipping on her drink while resting her face on her palm. In the photo, the tattoo on the actress' wrist is visible, albeit faded.
As soon as she shared the post, that particular picture went viral, and fans stated that the actress was finally getting her tattoo removed. "Good for her! Time to move on," a netizen commented, while another wrote, "Hope she gets back to her happy self." "She can be at peace now," a user wrote.
The other photos showed Samantha channelling her fun side as well as glimpses from her professional life.
For those unversed, Samantha and Chaitanya had gotten themselves matching tattoos post their wedding and the latter had revealed that it was their wedding date in morse code. The two got married in October 2017, but in 2021, their fans were shocked as they announced their divorce.
In December 2024, Chaitanya got married once again to actress Sobhita Dhulipala. Samantha, on the other hand, is rumoured to be dating Raj Nidimoru of Raj & DK fame, but the two have neither accepted nor denied the reports.
