Nepotism Rocks issue seems to be taken yet another twist. There have been reports coming right from the B-town that all is not well between Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar. As we all know that Karan and Saif had hosted an IIFA Awards 2017 where something went wrong between them.
According to a report in DNA, there were “major issues” between the two behind the scenes. According to an actor who attended the award show, “Initially, Saif and Karan got along very well. They had rehearsed their lines, skits, and acts. Saif is very particular about their lines together on stage. He wanted their on-stage time to be equally divided with an equal number of jokes, punchlines, etc.”
Apparently, when Karan began changing his lines on stage, Saif didn’t take this act too kindly as Karan was trying to eclipse him on the stage. Thus, Saif made his displeasure known to his friends.
However, a source close to the filmmaker told the publication that Karan was not overshadowing Saif. An insider said, “It’s not clear how this happened because the hosts always read from the teleprompter. Karan is so comfortable on stage, so he may have said some spontaneous things to improvise, which may have disturbed his co-host. But I doubt he did that to steal Saif’s thunder.”
Well, after Saif’s open letter, it seems like the issue is going to stretch much more.
