Isha Koppikar played a pivotal role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don. Her dance-off with Priyanka Chopra on the song Aaj Ki Raat had grabbed everyone's attention. Recently, in an interview, Isha opened up about Ranveer Singh taking forward the franchise with Don 3. The actress said that it is a huge responsibility, and she hopes that the team will make a good film.
While talking to Zoom, Isha said, "With every generation, new-age actors are trying (to recreate) the superhits of the past. It is a great responsibility. First Shah Rukh Khan took it on his shoulders, now Ranveer Singh is taking it on his. I wish them good luck. I hope they make a good film, which I am very confident about. A great team is working behind it.”

Isha further spoke about her experience of working in the 2006 release Don. The actress said, “It was such a great canvas and stellar ensemble that it was challenging enough for me to get the best out of myself and push my limits. It had such great actors like Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal, etc. Of course, there was Shah Rukh with whom I wanted to work. God gave me an opportunity. Priyanka was opposite me."
"When you have good actors and technicians around, it pushes your limits, and you want to do more and better. You are sharing the screen space with them. I want to be seen as much as they, if not more. It gets competitive and I love that. When you work with the best, it gets the best out of you," she added.
Don 3 Shooting
There have been reports that the shooting of Don 3 will start by the end of this year. The movie was supposed to have Kiara Advani as the female lead, but reportedly, she has opted out of the movie, and Kriti Sanon has replaced her. However, there's no official announcement about Kriti joining the cast.
