Fans eagerly waiting for the fantasy K-drama Human From Today, starring Kim Hye-Yoon and Lomon, will now have to wait a bit longer. The release of the much-anticipated series has officially been pushed to 2026.

According to an April 10 report by SBS to Top Star News, "Human From Today is now scheduled to air in 2026," contrary to its previously planned 2025 release. While the shooting of the series has already been completed, the specific broadcast date remains undecided.

Media reports suggest that the release was delayed due to unforeseen production challenges, although no official statement has elaborated further.

Despite the delay, excitement around the show continues to build. A teaser released earlier has already garnered millions of views online, leaving fans even more curious about Kim Hye-Yoon's bold transformation. The Lovely Runner actress is set to portray a never-seen-before avatar in this supernatural romance.

Human From Today plot

Human From Today tells the tale of Eun-Ho, a cheeky and self-absorbed gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox), who wants nothing to do with humanity - or becoming human, for that matter. Played by Kim Hye-Yoon, Eun-Ho shuns the traditional path of her kind, preferring instead to remain eternally young and beautiful by collecting minor "vices" rather than doing good deeds. Her smirky smile and sass-filled attitude have already taken the internet by storm.

Her orderly immortal life takes an unexpected turn when Kang Si-Yeol, played by All Of Us Are Dead star Lomon, barges into her world. A globally celebrated soccer player, Si-Yeol is known for his dazzling looks, arrogant demeanour, and obsession with maintaining his muscular physique. He lives a life of glory until Eun-Ho crashes into it, quite literally.

What follows is a rollercoaster of banter, love-hate dynamics, and supernatural twists, promising a refreshing take on the fantasy romance genre.

Directed by Kim Jung-Kwon and written by Park Chan-Young and Jo Ah-Young, the series also stars Jang Dong-Joo, Lee Si-Woo, and Ji Seung-Jun in key supporting roles. Notably, this marks the first onscreen pairing of Kim Hye-Yoon and Lomon, raising curiosity about their chemistry in this unconventional love story.
