The Housefull 5 entourage, including Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Fardeen Khan, jetted off to Pune on Sunday to promote their upcoming madcap entertainer. However, the fan event took no time to turn into a chaotic mess as soon as the stars entered the mall where the event was happening, and Akshay himself had to intervene to control the situation.
As soon as Akshay and co graced the stage, the crowd went berserk, resulting into a stampede-like situation. The mall was packed to the brim, with fans not just filling up the event zone but also the higher floors and corridors. Several videos have gone viral in which young girls and women can be seen crying, while people in the back struggled to make place.
A little girl was also seen breaking down in front of the stage after getting separated from her parents, and Jacqueline consoled her, assuring her parents that she was safe.
Soon after, Akshay was seen taking the mic and requesting the crowd to be careful, to avoid any untoward incident. "Dhakka dhukki mat kariye, please. Haath jod ke vinanti karta hoon, yaha auratein hai, bacche hai...I request everyone, please," he said with folded hands, as the rest of the cast looked tense due to the situation.
The team of Housefull 5 then proceeded with the event after the crowd was brought under control, and wrapped it up in scheduled time. Akshay, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline, Sonam, and others were seen dancing and even playing phoogdi, not just with each other but also with fans.
Housefull 5 is all set to hit the silver screens on June 6, 2025, and it also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, and others in lead roles.
